I return to a muse that I created with Riko Feeza twenty years ago
There are some values and some core parts of us that will always be with us no matter how we grow or how we change. I strongly believe that.
and I started something special 20 years ago and it stayed stagnant. However, as life happens as we change, both of us found ourselves wanting to return to a creative project that we created when we were barely adults. That was Prosaic Magazine.We interviewed bands, artists, writers and curated lots of works. We photocopied the magazine, glued them together and sold them for cost price. We tried to revive it again in 2013, but we did not sustain it and Volume 3 ended with 2 issues.
Now we are back with Volume 4, and we are starting small, publishing the e-version for free and finding out how to print the magazine and sell it for nearly cost price. (More news on this very soon.) As I am typing this, I am waiting for the proof copy to make it’s way through snail mail and end up in my mailbox for proof reading. I do not know if anyone apart from me would actually want the print copy. I am hoping that independent bookstores would want to have some copies of it so it gets into the hands of some readers who aren’t online. If you know of anyone who would spread the word, do let me know.
